Even the most highly touted rookies can feel woefully overmatched during their first NFL training camp. Such was the case with Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
"It was definitely a shock to my system. I remember the first day, I ran a little crossing route, and Adrian Wilson just teed off on me going over the middle. I was like, 'Oh my gosh. I hope this isn't how it's going to be every day.' He was just bullying me. I had to dig in and get myself together. Physically, dealing with the guys was definitely an adjustment for me," Fitzgerald told STACK.
Eleven Pro Bowl selections later, it's safe to say Fitz has adjusted alright.
