Although Derrick Rose's return to the court was brief, the hype leading up to it was anything but. adidas started on its "#thereturn" campaign soon after D-Rose went down in the 2012 NBA Playoffs series against the 76ers. The campaign culminated with the former MVP's return to the court. The newest version of the kicks that bear his name—the D Rose 4—almost seemed like an afterthought, but we'd be remiss if we failed to give the proper credit to the face of adidas hoops and his kicks.
