The Brooklyn Nets, a team some thought would challenge the Miami Heat for an NBA Finals appearance next summer, have stumbled to a 3-8 start, as they've experienced chemistry issues trying to work in a rookie head coach and a handful of new players. Hopefully, a new pair of spiffy shoes will lift their spirits. adidas has come out with a black and white, Brooklyn Nets-inspired colorway of its popular Crazy 8 basketball shoe.
The kicks feature the Nets logo on the tongue and heel, the word "Brooklyn" stitched into the ankle, and a nifty sock liner that depict the subway routes running near the Barclays Center, where the Nets play. The upper and laces also feature a pattern similar to the Nets home court. Click through the slideshow for a closer look.
If you want a pair, these Crazy 8s go on sale Dec. 6 for $125 at Foot Locker, Finish Line and the Nets team store in the Barclays Center.
