As Kyrie Irving gets ready to return to the same floor where he gave the Cleveland Cavaliers their first championship in franchise history he received another nugget of good news: His image will grace the cover of the latest edition of the wildly popular NBA 2K video game series.

Irving, an avid 2K player, is the first Cavs player to earn 2K cover honors (LeBron James appeared on the cover in 2014 when he was a member of the Miami Heat), but it's his second stint as a cover athlete. Irving previously appeared on the cover of NBA Live 14.
