With the 2017 NBA Finals underway, LeBron James and Kevin Durant are in the midst of an epic battle.
But six years ago, the two NBA superstars faced off in a different sport—flag football. The event, dubbed LeBron's Flag Football Classic, took place during the NBA lockout of 2011. It all started when LeBron found out that KD fancied himself a pretty good flag football player:

Soon enough, a game was scheduled with the University of Akron being the agreed upon venue. LeBron and Durant acted as the respective captains, and both filled out their rosters with personal friends.
