On paper, it seems like a perfect fit.

At 6-foot-8, 280 pounds, the former Baylor defensive end would fit right in alongside the behemoth athletes of XFL owner Vince McMahon's other venture—the WWE.

Oakman was once projected to be a first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, but a sexual assault charge spiraled his stock. After a long and arduous court process, he was finally found not guilty earlier this year. He'd worked a variety of odd jobs over the past three years, but his dreams of pro football never left. Oakman earned third-team All-America honors from the Associated Press his junior season at Baylor and still holds the school's records for sacks in a season (11) and a career (17.5).
