At the end of the Chicago Bears' Week 7 match-up with the New England Patriots, Mitch Trubisky basically played Jackpot.
And it almost worked.
Despite the ball having just a 14.4% completion probability, it found the hands of Bears receiver Kevin White.
But heartbreakingly for the Bears, White was brought down just a yard short of the end zone.
If it wasn't for Patriots safety Duron Harmon, White likely would've powered into the end zone.
"My job is to be as deep as the deepest (receiver), not to jump, assess everything, to make sure the ball doesn't get tipped behind me. White did a good job of going up and getting the football, but I had to make sure I did my job, too, just keeping him out of the end zone (and) making a good, strong tackle," Harmon told NESN after the game.
Harmon did his job. Bill Belichick must've been so proud.
