When you watch Peter Moylan pitch, you might be amazed he's lasted this long.
The 39-year-old Atlanta Braves relief pitcher ranks as the third-oldest active player in the MLB despite a sidearm/submarine pitching style that looks tortuous on the elbow and shoulder.
Save for Moylan, the Braves are a very young team.
For example, his teammate Ronald Acuña Jr. is just 20 years old.
Moylan can still be a workhorse despite his old age.
In 2017, his 79 appearances tied Bryan Shaw for the most of any pitcher.
